- Start by combing your hair. This style works for wet or dry hair, but I like starting with damp hair because it makes the final style look a little more polished!
2. Next you"ll need to gather your hair into a regular ponytail on the crown of your head. Be careful when choosing the height of your ponytail because it is crucial to the syle! If you do it too low or too high it just won't look good.
3. Next comb through the ponytail to make sure it is sleek for the style. Then twist the ponytail till you get to the end. Be sure to not do it too tight or too loose & it doesn't matter which way you twist!4. Next, still twisting the same way you started, wrap the twisted ponytail around the elastic that holds in the ponytail, forming a round bun. I have layers in my hair which you can see are fanning out in this step, but that's okay. I can either pin the ends in later with bobby pins for a more polished look, or leave them out for a bedhead messy look!
5. Take your second elastic and twist it around the bun to hold it in place, just like you would with a regular ponytail. You can use a third elastic for extra support if you feel it is too loose. The final style should look something like this.
6. It is cute just like it is but if you'd like to spice it up, there are plenty of ways to do it! Like I said above, this style is so versatile! The first picture below is great for the gym! Just add a colorful skinny headband to keep any flyaways out of your face. The second picture includes a cute bow that you can find at Salley's or you can buy similar ones at Build-A-Bear. The last picture is great for school or a day out! The little gold headband adds an easy and subtle way to update the hair style.
Hope you all enjoyed this one, I'd love feedback on what you all think!
